In-Line Air Conditioning, Inc. is a 4^th generation family owned and managed HVAC services and mechanical contractor specializing in commercial/institutional/corporate work. Our clients come from both public and private sectors of NJ commerce. We are conveniently headquartered in Bayonne, New Jersey with expert technicians based throughout the state.

We take an extreme amount of pride in our team of trained professionals that provide our clients with a superior degree of service and support. We specialize in system maintenance, service/repair and installation/replacements/upgrades. We are  certified in installation, integration, service, maintenance, and monitoring of Internet based direct digital HVAC control systems.   

We pride ourselves in being a prime source and one call solution to our clients for all of their facility comfort needs. Through the years, our clients have come to recognize In-Line as a proven and qualified leader providing cost effective solutions to many issues currently facing today’s facility managers.

Our Proud and Humble Beginnings

 Our family business had its start at the dawn of the air conditioning industry in the late 1950’s and early 1960’s. Back then the company was called Dorans’ Troop, started by our late Grandfather John Dorans. The company’s focus at the time was sheet metal fabrication and welding. In the mid 1970’s our father, John Dorans Jr., branched out on his own and formed In-Line Metal Fabricators. Again, the company’s primary focus was sheet metal fabrication and ductwork installation. The company had a few service technicians to primarily handle start up and warranty work for the systems that were installed. This is where our current President Robert Dorans started working in the business as a service tech.

In the early 1980’s, our family recognized that there was a growing need for HVAC service and maintenance as more and more central systems were being installed in businesses. It was at that point in time that In-Line started offering our first HVAC maintenance plans to our growing customer base. By 1985, our present-day company, In-Line Air Conditioning, was formed. We eventually combined In-Line Metal Fabricators into In-Line Air Conditioning Co. Inc. in the mid 1990’s and are still run by the Dorans family siblings Robert Dorans and Matt Dorans Sr.

We greatly value our past and look forward to more success to come. It is inspiring to know that both our grandfather and father look down upon us and are extremely proud of all we have accomplished thus far.
